The Cascades at Sarasota are an active 55+ Community

The Cascades at Sarasota is a master-planned development for active age 55+ residents. The community is located on Lockwood Ridge Road in southern Manatee County, only two miles north of the Sarasota County line, and conveniently close to Downtown Sarasota.

The development of the Cascades started in 2005. With 450 properties, the development is now entirely built out. Levitt and Sons built the majority of the homes. Only in 2008 and 2009, Bradenton Home Builder Medallion finished the construction phase by building the last 60 homes.
