West Port

West Port is a new community that wraps around Centennial Park in Port Charlotte. Residents of West Port enjoy a pedestrian-friendly community with sidewalks, pathways, and trails with miles of walking and biking,  which extends to the 100 acres large Centennial Park.  The community stretches from US 41 in North Port to El Jobean Rd ( 776 ) in the heart of Charlotte County. West Port is a master-planned community on approximately 450acres of land.

 Once built out, West Port will have 2000 single-family homes in addition to multi-family dwellings, gated villages offering a variety of homes with multi-generations in mind. The master plan includes commercial activity along U.S 41 and Hwy 776/El Jobean Rd with restaurants, retail, and even hotels. West Port is a deed-restricted community with CDD (community development district) fees.  The community offers public water and sewer and CenturyLink Internet and Cable services. 

West Port Amenities:

The Centennial Park Recreation Center offers an Aquatic Facility including a 50 (160 ft.) Meter Lap Pool. There are volleyball and pickleball nets,  indoor soccer, and a state of Art Fitness Center. You can enjoy the outdoors on an 18-hole Disc Golf Course, Lakes for fishing, Nature trails, picnic shelters, a playground, and a soccer field. The park is of course dog friendly.
