Main Street at Lakewood Ranch has many more stores and businesses – too many to list here. Noteworthy is a Healthy Living Organic and Natural Market, Fine Wine Tasting and Naples Soap Company, Starbucks, and a Sushi Lounge. 

Waterside Place is a waterfront destination within Lakewood Ranch.  Waterside Place is a bustling hub that comprisees of apartments, restaurants, retail shops, and offices. Its events calendar is packed with exciting activities such as the weekly Sunday Farmers’ Market, Ranch Nite Wednesdays, live music, and cornhole tournaments. Once completed, each residential neighborhood in Waterside will be connected to Waterside Place through trails or water taxis.

The Green at Lakewood Ranch  features apartment buildings, over two dozen businesses with Earth Fare, a specialty grocery store, and LA Fitness.  

Lakewood Ranch has nine neighborhood plazas located throughout the area.

“ Lakewood Walk” is located on the corner of Lakewood Ranch Blvd. and State Rd. 70. You will find a Publix with casual dining, a nail salon, banks, an eye doctor, a dry cleaner, a dentist, and a jewelry store.  

“The Shoppes of Summerfield” offer quick and casual dining, banks, AAA, and a UPS store. Lorraine Corners features Walgreens, Dunkin Donuts, gas stations, salons, and a Publix us in the future plans. Market Square is located just off University Park with a Publix supermarket surrounded by Chili’s, First Watch, a travel agency, a dry cleaner, a florist, and more.  

San Marco Plaza is a beautiful and vibrant location, just a half mile from Mainstreet, that boasts brick walkways, arched buildings. It offers a health and wellness center, a dance studio, and several restaurants. Lakewood Ranch Live Music, Farmers Market, and Sports 

On the first Friday of each month,  the community gets together for free live music on Main Street.  Do you love to go to the Farmer’s Market? Here is your chance. Every Sunday from 10 AM to 2 PM, you can buy fresh local veggies and fruits, baked goods, coffee, tea, pet foods, and a lot more. 

The theatre in the open field, a theater where you don’t need to be inside, just enjoy the outdoors with live performance. If you are a sports fan, you have come to the right place. The premier sports campus shows your favorite local, state, and national teams on 23 fields and 140 acres. Play football, soccer, rugby, frisbee, and more. 

Lakewood Ranch Walking Trails, Polo and Golf 

For the outdoor enthusiasts, there are miles and miles of trails along the River, connecting neighborhoods and nature parks. Bring your four-legged friend and splash away at the dog park. 

Golfers and Polo players have their playing field right at the Ranch. Polo matches are every Sunday during the winter season. With 130 acres of manicured grounds, Sarasota Polo Club boasts 7 world-class polo fields.  

Waterside Place at Lakewood Ranch 

Waterside Place is a community focused on the beauty of water. The village boasts seven stunning lakes with 20 miles of shoreline and nature preserves.
