Hunting and Fishing Licenses
Hunting and fishing licenses are available through the county tax collector’s offices and other agents like sporting good stores or retailers that sell outdoor equipment. Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission allows you to purchase your hunting or fishing license by dialing a toll-free number and using a credit card. You can also go online to purchase a license. There are two different licenses for fresh and saltwater. Fishing from certain fishing piers does not require a license.

Boating in Manatee County
No boating license is required in Manatee County, although, there are certain rules and restrictions in place. It is the obligation of the individual boat owner to know his responsibilities.

Does my Pet need a License in Manatee County?
Do I really need a license for my pet? Oh, yes. Your pet (dog or cat) must be licensed in Manatee County. Failure to obtain a license could result in fines up to $1,000. Rabies vaccinations are also required by Florida State Statute and by Manatee County Ordinance.
"A Manatee County license tag is required annually for dogs and cats, which they are required to wear. Your dog or cat must be on a leash no longer than eight (8) feet in length when the dog or cat is off the property of the owner and must be under the physical control of the owner or custodian." You may register to vote if you are a U.S. citizen, at least 18 years of age (you can pre-register at 17), and you are not a convicted felon unless your civil rights have been restored. You can apply to register to vote at any time.
