Local Englewood Information- start your discovery
Welcome to explore all Englewood Neighborhoods, because there is something for everyone. Englewood has a handful of gated communities with upscale homes. Boca Royale Golf and Country Club, Oyster Creek Golf and Country Club, Stillwater, and the Hammocks are a few of them. These communities differ in style and size of their homes. Boca Royale Golf & Country Club, a mature community, offers more upscale and larger homes in a unique surrounding. This community is still expanding, offering new construction.
Oyster Creek Golf & Country Club has smaller homes and villas that are well maintained and surrounded by a challenging golf course, lakes and preserves. 450 homes include attached villas and single-family homes. The community is completed, and there are no empty lots available anymore. We are Oyster Creek Specialists and can help you better than any other agent.
Stillwater is the newest of the three and started in early 2000. The community has larger homes on over sized lots as well as attached villas surrounded by beautiful lakes. There is no golf course, therefore the HOA fees are low.

Condominiums on the water and medium size single family homes in a relaxed tropical atmosphere are dominating Englewood’s real estate market. Ranch style properties on 5-acre parcels, which allow an equestrian lifestyle and waterfront mansions along Lemon Bay are also available.
Englewood is a small Town with a Big Heart
Englewood is not for everyone. That is for sure. Therefore, before you cast an eye on Englewood, you need to realize that this small former fisherman’s village is not comparable to Sarasota, Fort Myers or Miami. If you are used to fancy restaurants, exotic bars or large shopping malls with international flair, or if you need world class entertainment, like concerts and operas, Englewood will most likely not ignite a spark.
So, what is Englewood?
Englewood is not as crowded as many other areas nearby. If you like it quieter and prefer to live in a more natural setting – you will love Englewood. You do not need to go to bed with the chickens though because there are some excellent live music places and wine bars along the beach. Go and enjoy a drink or dinner while a gifted musician performs his gig. There is also an event center offering entertainment. But Opera? Ballet? Concerts? Far from it. Sarasota, Punta Gorda or Fort Myers would be the best bet for this. But even Tampa is not so far away.
Everybody who loves the beach and the ocean will love Englewood because the main activities are around boating, fishing and going to the beach. For all those who’ll like the “small town” feeling without the fuss, have a closer look and explore all Englewood neighborhoods. Englewood is an authentic historical fishing village with lots of flair and less crowed than it’s neighbors to the south and north.
